Becoming a Firm of the Future

clapper cropped 1A lot of my colleagues in the accounting profession have been asking me lately what the secret is to
Polymath’s recent growth spurt. The answer is twofold:

  1. It’s not a secret.
  2. There are so many things!

While I could (and have) talked for hours about each piece that has helped us along the way, there was a very key piece that made a huge difference one year ago. This piece turned out to be the jet fuel we needed to really launch our dreams. Check out my recent article published last week in Insightful Accountant to find out what it is!

  1. Yay! Firm of the future!

Ron Baker has been rocking my world recently as well. And Predictable Success is my weekend reading. Good times!

How would you structure yourself now if you were just starting out today with all of this knowledge and accumulated wisdom from years of bookkeeping/business advising experience? What would you tell your younger self about what not to do, and/or worry about?

    Cheers!
